Special Education Department
Welcome to the Parlier Unified School District Special Education Department
At Parlier Unified School District, we believe that every student has the right to a meaningful and inclusive education. Our department is dedicated to identifying and supporting all students who currently receive specialized instruction and services within our schools.
We operate under the guiding principles of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and the California Education Code, ensuring that each eligible student receives a Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) in the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE).
Whether your child is transitioning from Early Start (Part C) or preparing for post-secondary life, our team of educators, therapists, and specialists is committed to partnering with you. We view the IEP process as a collaborative journey, and we value the unique perspective you bring as a parent and member of the IEP team.
