PUBLIC NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ON THE 2026-27 ADOPTED BUDGET, REVIEW AND DISCUSSION OF DISTRICT RESERVES, AND THE ANNUAL EDUCATION PROTECTION ACCOUNT
Notice is hereby given that the Parlier Unified School District (District) has prepared the 2026-27 Adopted Budget in accordance with California Education Code requirements, and documentation has been prepared to show that the District has reserves above the State recommended minimum. Additionally, discussion will be held regarding the Annual Education Protection Account.
The proposed 2026-27 budget will be available for inspection by the public beginning June 4, 2026, at Parlier Unified’s District Office, 900 S. Newmark Avenue, Parlier, California 93648.
The California Education Code requires the Board to conduct a Public Hearing on its fiscal year budget prior to its adoption of said budget, to review reserves (SB 858), and to review and discuss the Annual Education Protection Account. The Board scheduled the Public Hearing for the 2026-27 Adopted Budget, to review and discuss reserves (SB 858 – Justification for Reserves Above the State Recommended Minimum), and to review and discuss the Annual Education Protection Account at the Board meeting on June 9, 2026, no earlier than 5:00 p.m. The Public Hearing will be held in the Board Room located at 1200 E. Parlier Avenue, Parlier, California 93648.
Any person wishing to comment on these documents may attend the Public Hearing and be heard and may also submit such comments in writing to the School District on or before June 8, 2026.

SOBRE EL PRESUPUESTO APROBADO PARA 2026-27, REVISIÓN Y DISCUSIÓN DE LAS RESERVAS DISTRITALES, Y LA CUENTA ANUAL DE PROTECCIÓN DE LA EDUCACIÓN
Por la presente se notifica que el Distrito Escolar Unificado de Parlier (Distrito) ha preparado el Presupuesto Adoptado 2026-27 de acuerdo con los requisitos del Código de Educación de California, y se ha preparado documentación para demostrar que el Distrito tiene reservas por encima del mínimo recomendado por el estado. Además, se debatirá sobre la Cuenta Anual de Protección de la Educación.
El presupuesto propuesto para el 2026-27 estará disponible para su inspección por parte del público a partir del 4 de junio de 2026 en la Oficina de Distrito del Distrito Escolar Unificado de Parlier, en el 900 S. Newmark Avenue, Parlier, California 93648.
El Código de Educación de California requiere que la Junta lleve a cabo una Audiencia Pública sobre el presupuesto de su año fiscal antes de la adopción de dicho presupuesto, para revisar las reservas (SB 858) y para revisar y discutir la Cuenta Anual de Protección de la Educación. La Junta programó la Audiencia Pública para el Presupuesto Adoptado 2026-27, para revisar y discutir las reservas (SB 858 – Justificación de las Reservas por encima del Mínimo Recommended por el Estado), y para revisar y discutir la Cuneta Anual de Protección de la Educación en la reunión de la Junta el 9 de junio de 2026, no antes de las 5:00 p.m. La Audiencia Pública se llevará a cabo en la Sala de Juntas ubicada en 1200 E. Parlier Avenue, Parlier, California 93648.
Cualquier persona que desee comentar sobre estos documentos puede asistir a la Audiencia Pública y ser escuchado(a) y también puede presentar dichos comentarios por escrito al Distrito Escolar en o antes del 8 de junio de 2026.
