Daily Announcements

to the Parlier Unified School District web site.

The Parlier Unified School District is nestled in the heart of the California San Joaquin Valley surrounded by the beautiful Sierra mountains.

In 1903-04 the Parlier School District was established, later becoming the Parlier Unified School District on July 1, 1955. Historically Parlier has 133 years of educating a diverse community, from 1874 to present.  Parlier Unified is one of 34 districts in Fresno County.  Our services span 49 square miles with a population base of 13,000 .

Our outstanding certificated and classified workforce is comprised of over 280 employees.

The District consists  of four Elementary Schools, one Junior High School, one High School, and one Alternative Education Center.

In addition to the school sites our District has partnership programs that provide assistance to our community stakeholders. An example of these partnership programs are Even Start, State Pre-School, Health Education and  the Students Targeted with Opportunities for Prevention (STOP) Program sponsored by the California Health Collaborative.  The District also has partnerships with California State University Fresno Early Intervention, Pacific University Internship Psychologist Program, Eminence and SER programs that deliver counseling and tutorial services to our students.  The diversity of agencies provides our students and families with opportunities to have their needs met.

The Parlier Unified School District provides an excellent educational program for every student at every level.  In addition, the District offers Valley Regional Occupational Program (VROP) which is a career technical education program for high school students, with a focus on preparing students for the global economy workforce.

We believe that all students can succeed with the collaboration of the community, parents, and school staff.  We pride ourselves in knowing that our students are achieving an education that is the foundation for a successful future.

Our District has a vision for the future which involves the growth of our city.
In 2004 a Bond Measure was passed which will enable the District to begin facilities projects, as well as others in the areas of modernization and improvements during the 2007/2008 school year. These improvements will offer a conducive educational environment for all of our students.

You are invited to learn more about our school programs and services that are provided for our students.
