Parlier Unified School District is nestled in the heart of the California San Joaquin Valley and neighbors the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountain range. Our service area spans 49 square miles of Fresno County and encompasses a population base of nearly 15,000. Historically, Parlier schools have educated our diverse community since 1874. Parlier School District was established for the 1903-1904 school year, later incorporating as a unified school district on July 1, 1955. Our outstanding certificated and classified workforce comprises over 280 employees. Our district features four elementary schools, one junior high school, one high school, and one alternative education school. In addition, the District offers our high school students participation in Valley Regional Occupational Program (VROP), a career technical education program that focuses on preparing students for the global economy workforce. We continue to grow, with the planned construction of a new gymnasium at Parlier High School the most recent development.
